Are you having problems getting your payments from eBay?

eBay changed our account without notifying us.  After selling 3 items and receiving payment prior to shipping, eBay changed our account to an "on hold" bases because we are only "causal seller".  Never told us our account was on hold. never sent us our funds after selling 3 more items.  Called them on Monday 4/12/2021 to ask what was going on with our account.  Customer no service told me "he didn't know why our account was on hold and that he would escalate it to his supervisor".  "His supervisor would be contacting us be either email or calling back with 24 to 48 hours".  

Today is Wednesday 4/14/2021 with no email and no phone call I called again.  This is when I was told we would have to ship our items before they would pay us.  So eBay is holding our funds until they have "proof of delivery".  Then they will transfer the funds to us.  

Asked to speak to a supervisor and received the same runaround.  Asked to speak with her supervisor.  After a brief wait, she (Carol) said all the supervisors were in a meeting.  Carol said we would receive a call back within 2 hours.  

EBay called us back saying she was going to connect us to a supervisor and guess what they put us on hold.  We have been holding for 45 minutes and counting.  Customer NO Service!  Done with eBay!  Good Luck everyone.

So sorry...  looks like you sold $700+ in a short time after not selling ever or for a long time (ID created in 2019)?

This seems to happen a lot - you aren't selling or haven't sold for a long time and once you ramp up like this in a short time span, the e-Bay bots wonder why.

I would keep trying to get someone live, but am afraid e-Bay really may wait to do the payout to you until the items show as delivered, etc.  Since you just started selling again, are you using Paypal or did it make you sign up for MP?

You sold some neat stuff....hopefully you can get some finite clarity on this call you are on-hold with now.

They consider you a new seller and they'll put the funds on hold until after tracking shows the item was delivered.

I don't know why, but sometimes they'll let a couple transactions to go through before they start holding the funds.
