Are we allowed to auction isopropyl alcohol again?

Are we allowed to list isopropyl alcohol as an auction listing again? Or will they be removed for "price gouging"?

I don't know the answer to your question but why would you bother?   All the stores in my area have the stuff in stock now.

Yep, just a couple days ago I ordered more 70% isopropyl - $3.98 for 2 qts, shipped "free" with my $35+ purchase at walmart.com.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Unless there has been an announcement stating they are no longer restricted, they will be removed because they are restricted.

I'm gonna have to give that a shot. I am down to my last bottle of 91%. I need it to clean my products...

Except they never announced that it would be restricted in the first place. It was more guilt by association. And the announcement of banning of certain items was basically hidden (heck I can't even find it now) and not sent out to everyone. So I may have missed the announcement of the un-banning of the sale.

I am asking because I am not selling 70% or even 90% isopropyl. This is high purity, certified stuff used for labs and calibrating meters. I put it up originally for a staring bid ~ 20% of the price from a chemical sales site but it was still $20 for a few ounces. Someone/thing  thought that a starting bid at that price was too much. But I'm not going to put it up for a fixed price either, since I'm sure the price per ounce will trigger someone/thing if it is still banned.

@alcoforever

My guess is like all the others they stock piled hoping to cash in on the vulnerable and now are stuck with the stuff.

This is what you wrote in your last post about it:

Here is the reply I got from ebay when I asked to have whatever strike was on my account removed. (Bolding is mine.)

"I understand that these are lab grade chemicals. But they would still be considered a needed supply as they can be used to disinfecting and cleaning. While we are in the current health crisis if we have concerns about the propensity for an item to be price gouged we will remove it from site. Until the demand for these items dies down I would recommend only listing in a Buy It Now format."

Reply to that message and ask them if the demand has died down enough for you to list your lab grade chems without violating price gouging policies.

No official announcement has been made about non-approved sellers being allowed to list cleaning and disinfecting products so people here are going to tell you it's too soon to list so you don't risk your account.
