Are they messing with view counts again?

When I listed this item Monday (Nov. 4th) afternoon, I didn't know if I had it priced high, low, or just right, because I can't find a piece quite like it by this designer, but just considering that the designer is pretty big in the vintage costume world and because I think I used a pretty interesting photo and title, I figured at the very least it would draw fast attention. 

But when I checked the next day (Tue. the 5th) it had only 5 views.  -Everybody watching the election probably.  So I checked again yesterday (Wed. the 6th) and it had only grown to 9 views. -Everybody celebrating or grieving the election probably.  But surely by today there'd be a boost, right?  Nope, this morning it was still at 9 views.  And yes I am absolutely certain it was 9 the last two times I checked because election or no election, I was kinda shocked to see it hadn't even broken the 2-digit barrier, albeit almost.   

But now look.  Back to 5.  And broken down by day, sure enough those 5 were on the first day, like I remember.  But what happened to the 4 views between Tuesday and Wednesday????  

BTW if anyone feels compelled to give the listing a look, would you reply that you did, so I can see if it got counted?

I don't know, but what I do know is once again, ebay instead of fixing what we all know is broken, instead makes worse changes to things that nobody was asking for.

I want the bulk relisting/sell similar page to be fixed and work again.  Its a sitewide problem.  They know it.  Still broken.

Thank you.  It does say 6 now, so that was probably you.  Still can't imagine how 4 previous views vanished and don't appear to be coming back.

Okay WHOA.  Is there already any posts about THIS? 

LOOK at my traffic page!  -The Impressions chart now has blocked-in colors instead of lines, and there is NO view count chart or sales chart!!  What???

EDIT: Okay now I see that it's all in one graph with the other two data sets clickable at the top.  I don't like this.

I looked at your listing just a few minutes ago.

I have had views disappear, too. I think the views that show up and then disappear could be bot views that are removed by eBay. Reconciling data on eBay can be slow.

They supposedly stopped showing bot views a couple years ago.  And if I recall the bot views were usually just moments after the listing posted, not days later.

My understanding is bots still crawl the site 24/7, so both newer and older listings have the potential for bot views at any time. I agree, eBay is not supposed to report bot views. I just think some bot views get through to the report and are removed after the fact. Just my guess as to what might be happening.

I had the new traffic page design briefly yesterday before it reverted to the previous design. The new traffic page was back this morning and has been there all day, so I think we are stuck with it.  I do not like it either.

My view counts were very high until November 4th and then plummeted. I thought it was just me.

Customer base looks like it just keeps shrinking. But if you give Ebay more money they will show your products more to the customer base it still has....
