Are accepted offers without a payment becoming a problem

Once again I had an offer for a product. I accepted immediately and then no payment. For a small seller like myself its happened way to many times. Any ideas, comments are appreciated. Thx.

We see this all the time.

Don't do auctions or best offer.

Fixed Price, buy it now, immediate payment required

Best approach is to cancel for nonpayment after the 96 hour/four day waiting period, giving the member a nonpayment strike on the account.

Make sure you add the member id  to your Blocked Buyers List and that your Buyer Requirements block anyone with two or more strikes in a twelve-month period (the most restrictive setting).

I believe you have used an erroneous verb tense in your title.  Accepted offers without payment have long been an issue.  But really they are a non issue as you are not out any fees as there is no payment and you can always relist shortly.  Such situations are towards the bottom of my list of issues selling on Ebay.

Are accepted offers without a payment becoming a problem

hey this happened on my first sale. my advice do some research i did tons before i made an account, so naturally thought i had to be ready enough. they tried a second time i noticed immediately however i still had to make a repost. third time i had accepted the offer on my phone, i had an auction up they sent an offer well over the starting price once again had to respost. fourth time and after a few yt videos i just declined the offer on the auction and ignored the two fake accounts. worked like a charm so dont interact with them and dont accept offers on autions unless the account is 100% FB, with clear indication it's been active for over two years. scammys will have 0 fb and some have 100 along with comments but if you read them its like asking your grandma to buy something then asking her for feedback. but make your best judgement GL

It is really only an issue because it makes you THINK you had a sale when you really didn't. I have totally stopped caring about this. I don't even send reminders anymore. I just cancel after 4 days and relist.
