Archive for closed listings

I recall stumbling across a page that had "Archived" in the selling list on the LH side of the page. It may have been in "seller hub" but I can't find it again. Was this selection for long-term storage of closed listings? I need som help in finding it again> TIA.

I archive all my sold listings. They are saved for 90 days. I do this so when/if I get replacements I can go to "archived" and "sell similar" and reuse my old ads. The "NEW" problem is that you can see the 90 days of listings but they are now "dead" past 60 days. I really hope that`s a temporary issue.

It`s my opinion we should be able to access our selling history for at least 2 years....afteralll....I can access my purchase history for over 2 years SMH.

To get to archived go to "seller hub" and click "orders" and you will see this menu on the left with "archived"

Re: Archive for closed listings

Seller Hub / Orders / Archived

Don't get your hopes up though.  It looks like it only has the last month of listings voluntarily "archived".  I don't know what happens to older listings voluntarily archived.

Sold listings are only available for 90 days or so, and unsold/ended Buy it Now listings will only be found in your unsold list (not sure for how long).  They used to keep those available for everyone to see for three months but since GTC, ended/unsold BIN listings are nowhere to be found.

Unsold auction listings can be seen by everyone, I believe at least for 90 days.

If anyone has more accurate timings, please correct.

Re: Archive for closed listings

I archive all my SOLD listings and it keeps them for 90 days under the archive link, by month.

Your sold listings are still available for 90 days right there in seller hub and are not "dead". You can open and/or relist anything/everything on that list.

Archived goes back another 30 days beyond that making your time frame 120 days.

If you want to be able to go back further (the 2 years of which you speak) then the problem is attacked from the other end. Instead of creating your listings ON eBay create them on your own computer and transfer them to eBay. There are any number of off site programs available. As for myself I am still using Turbo Lister. EVERY listing I have ever created all the way to my first listing 15 years ago is intact on my own computer. And nobody can delete it. All I need to do is click "upload" and it is back.

And, yes, eBay keeps saying they are getting rid of TL. But even if that happens the program still exists on my computer and all of my stored listings will be unaffected by eBay's abandonment of TL. I can simply copy and paste to any other usable program. Which would also be the case for any program you choose to use.

Re: Archive for closed listings

Thanks to all who answered. Wish I could give everyone an "Answered" tag. I still have a third party program that I used years ago and I may have to go that way to keep listings for longer than 90 days.

Hi. I just went back and checked. You are right. I can see the entire month of my sold items from May in my archived listings. Anything I click now/today past May 26 is a dead link and I get this screen:

A few weeks back I tried to do a "sell similar" from an archived ad that was less than 90 days old and was getting the same screen.  I tried several others with the same results. I`m glad now to find out it was a temporary thing.

Thank you for the info. about TL. Can you name, or direct me to some alternative programs that are similar to TL? Thanks
