Buyer clearly used feedback extortion in his messages to me. I reported him to Ebay for feedback extortion. When he left negative feedback with lies about the item I sent, I asked Ebay for the feedback to be removed.
I had a previous buyer leave negative feedback claiming an item I sent him was rotten. This new buyer just made the same claim to make it look like this was a trend. Both claims were false and untrue, done as retaliation for Ebay ruling in my favor.
I got a form letter from Ebay saying they would not remove the negative feedback. I'm assuming they made this decision based on the fact that a previous buyer made the same claim. The buyer in question is a competitor in a niche market.
The message from Ebay says not to reply to the message because it won't be read. Can I appeal Ebay's decision not to remove the negative feedback?
I have proof that the claims the buyer made were untrue, and additional information including a signed statement from my shipping employee saying the item was fresh and not rotten when shipped. We even have photos of the item in the box before it was shipped.

Unfortunately, I doubt that Ebay would accept any statement from your employee, and they do not accept photos as proof of anything, they can be doctored.

As stated; did buyer ask for partial refund? I can see feedback standing as you have no proof that they are not telling the truth.

Have you read the feedback extortion policy page and the feedback removal policy page to see if eBay states that feedback will be removed because of feedback extortion or because of the feedback is untrue?
Please let us know what you find.

Unless the buyer specifically states that they are going to neg you, it isn't extortion.
Give me back $10 or I'm going to leave a neg for you.
If you don't refund my money, I'm leaving a neg.
I don't wanna return it, I want my money back and I'll neg you if you don't refund me now.
Those are examples of feedback extortion.
What did the buyer actually say?
