Is there any point or any way to appeal a removed listing? Or once the listing is removed are you stuck with a violation on you account whether it was right or wrong on eBay's part? An item I had for sale was removed due to presale. However, my timeline was accurate and I would have been able to ship the item within the stated timeframe orginally listed which was much less than 30 days.

Right or wrong, most posters on here will tell you that once ebay removes a listing, do not relist it.
Once on ebay's radar, if you do and they again remove it, you could get banned.

If it did in fact completely comply with the presale policy then yes I would appeal. All you can lose is a bit of time.
Make sure to lay out your appeal in a very concise manner pointing out the specifics of how the listing followed all parts of the policy.

No offense but are you absolutely sure that it was removed because it was a pre-sale listing? Sorry, have seen too many people who either said they were not told a reason (when they were) or who said it was for one reason, when the email when posted, clearly showed another reason.
If you were truly in compliance with the requirements for a pre sale listing, then call and as previously stated, show that your listing met all the requirements.

Last year I had an item removed. I called Ebay, they listened to my argument that the item did not violate any terms, and then allowed me to relist. So yes, you can occasionaly find some rational thinkers working for corporate America, not many, but they do exist.

In a company where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing, and with CS who just try to get you off the phone or are not well trained and give bad advice, I still say even if one gives you the OK, another could just take it down again and ban you.
If it were my account I would not take the chance.

Emerald has a good point.
Yes, you can appeal, and even win, but you are on the bot's radar, and so a relist could be fatal.
Also, many times CS tells a seller it is fine to re-list, and they do so, only to have that listing pulled, too, and they are sanctioned accordingly.
You don't want to put your selling privileges in jeopardy.

Best to err on the side of caution.
Sorry that may not be the answer you were looking for, OP, but it is the best answer to keep your selling account intact.

We would just put that item in the closet or sell at the flea market or something. If this is the second time its been removed then you could end up in a mess.

It's a pre sale item; they don't have the actual item in hand.
And it was removed once.
