App Adding a tracking number manually

Dear experts,

Lately eBay made the App "improvement" - when you add a tracking number, as a seller, the default option is by a barcode, and the camera is turned on automatically. If you want to add it manually you have to click on a button.

Is there any option that the default option will be manually adding the tracking numbers?

I don't want each time to see my camera turning on and clicking another button...

The app is useless as a selling tool. Can you not use the web browser to add tracking? I have no problem opening the web browser on my phone if I need to. I open a private browsing session so it doesn't automatically force me into the app. If you prefer the app then you'll be doing some extra clicking unless you can scan the label.
