Anyone use TurboTax to file your taxes?

I'm trying to figure out where to include all my fees - shipping, final value, etc. I don't see any appropriate place in Turbotax in the business income section for this. Help?

If memory serves me right (been awhile since I used Turbo Tax) in the initial setup, (or somewhere along the way) you have to let the program know you had income OTHER THAN W-2.....(this will enable a schedule C)

that being said, I don't think a "Basic" edition has this feature, you may need to upgrade to a higher version....

Hopefully, someone who actually used Turbo Tax will chime in for you....

I use Turbo Tax. You might be able to get away with Deluxe, but you need to get the Home & Business version.

I can't speak for other versions, but in the Home and Business edition:

Business tab > Business Income and Expenses > Business Expenses > Other Common Business Expenses is likely where you will find easy spaces to enter your FVF fees, Store fees, shipping charges, and so forth.

Any expense that doesn't have a section I put under advertising expenses.

On schedule C,  eBay fees generally go under Commissions and fees.

Shipping expenses generally go under Office expense.

BTW I used Credit Karma last year; it was free.

File turbotax self-employed . They will guide you with questions and fill the form for you on bases of your answers. It is easy and they help maximize deductions  etc.

Where di you end up listing your ebay fees? I'm using TurboTax Self-Employed and can't find a good spot for it. Thanks.

“Where di you end up listing your ebay fees?“

Commissions— you can separate all fees

Materials and supplies — you put what you paid for item to be resold; tools; masks etc (don’t worry if it tells you that number seems high etc)

advertising fee — ebay promo fees

commissions— final fees and subscription

communications — telephone and internet cloud storage

Professional expenses — attorney, accounting turbotax fee etc

Miscellaneous— clothes, refunds
