Anyone try the "Sell globally, pay no insertion fees." promotion?

ebay sent a promotion earlier today to partner with a company called webinterpret -which supposedly helps you by listing your items on multiple international ebay sites. I didn't even realize I accepted anything for sure when I clicked it yet it automatically linked my ebay account within seconds. About 6 hours later I noticed I went from around 500 active listings on ebay to 1500 -there are versions of each one of my US listings multiplied for each other foreign ebay site.

 Luckily there's no extra insertion fees but I can't say I'm happy with having my active listings cluttered with 3-6 versions of the same listing. I'm wondering if I have to bulk delete them now as  I don't want them.  I've never had trouble getting customers from Europe/Australia and I think ebay even gave me an option to sell on some of those sites automatically.

-Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know that this service will heavily bloat up your active listings and may even scare you when you see all foreign currency all over your items. It's also too easy to opt in and too difficult to back out, you will have to cancel your trial through support tickets/emails. I will say it does seem like a very professional service if anyone is looking for help with international sales, their customer service was top notch.

@totoro470

They have been around for some time & I'm glad you had luck with their CS

This is important to read to make sure you don't end up with insertion fees and how they may charge you for anything since many on this very long post may have had to deal with them for awhile now.

Also read the thread I believe if you got out you now need to go into your account and delete their 3rd party token that allows them access.

Wait until you find out this cost $99.00 per mounth.

It will take you 2 months or more to get it out of your Ebay.

Thanks so much for the token thing, it remedied the problem instantly. I can't believe ebay would allow this, literally click a link from their messages and as easy as that I'm signed up with something without really knowing what I'm getting in to. I read the ebay message again and there are disclaimers below but I had no idea clicking a link was equivalent to signing up. It's the equivalent of being signed up for junk mail just by opening it.

-For anyone else that finds this post in the future, to remove the token just go to your "site preferences" and search for the third party authorizaions section. You'll find 2 webinterpret tokens there, just revoke both. All my listings went back to normal afterwards.

Also another BIG WARNING. If you do sign up accidentally and sell items on it you are selling it and receiving payment in that denomination, hence often less than the value of the dollar. Shipping will be paid at their rate so you will probably take a hit on that financially if you set reasonable rates on your shipping.

You might want to check for those 3rd party tokens on a regular basis.  Some have said that they can come back to haunt you.
