I mean, some even have similar names, and all of them are fairly recently created with little to no feedback. It smells fishy. And they were bidding against themselves from the same country!
Or something.
On top of that, I have my listings set to only allow US shipping. So.... ok? It appears to be shipping to the southern tip of Florida however however their country of origin is the Dominion Republic... lol
Just wanted to ask, it doesn't look legit for some reason and I don't want to be scammed. They haven't paid yet but who knows. Its just... Odd.

At least I don't feel like its just me then. LOL

Well. That's kinda shady. We will see what happens when the time comes. Me thinks my cancel and block finger is getting twitchy. 😛

WELL.
More fun to the puzzle. After reviewing my settings for unpaid, I found something else. Two buyers were blocked from bidding on the same item that everyone else was bidding on..
Funny thing. They were both from Canada. And both are now unregistered. But they attempted to bid and were blocked due to too many unpaid item strikes.
Edit:
Never mind, the data on them was probably blocked for protection. So they are probably active and not from Canada. After looking through it further, my mistake. But they both did try to bid and were stopped.
One of them was an older account with 177 score. Maybe they were hijacked or something.
I have a feeling I know where this is headed though. And you may have been right.

"ebay should block them being their address in not in the usa"
Sorry--don't understand this statement. Buyers who have an address outside the USA are allowed to buy or bid, unless the seller does not ship to their location. Quite a few international buyers will use freight forwarders in the US. Package goes to the FF, then is sent on to the buyer.

They will probably use a freight forwarder in Florida to ship to DR. If that happens, then your responsibility is to deliver to the freight forwarding address in the USA. Just be sure to use tracking on the shipment. I see this quite a bit from customers originating from the Caribbean or Latin America with freight forwarders in the USA.
Good luck to you!

While I don't have an issue primarily with this concept, I do have an issue with this weird flux of bidders attempting to bid on certain items.
Just today I had one bidder make low ball offers on some phones. With delivery again near the bottom of Florida. And the system blocked them from bidding directly due to too many non-payment strikes as I found when reviewing them. I added them to my blocked list, which funny enough is growing. And all of them are similar or identical in pattern. Either have gotten too many non-pay strikes or low to no feedback, recently created, and all shipping to to someplace in south Florida.
Its kinda crazy. And personally, I don't want to sell to people that are being shady like that. Even if I luck out and one of them pays, it also delays me selling the item to someone that would pay properly.
Ugh.
I'm almost tempted to exclude Florida as a place I ship to, just to lower the chance of this..... But that's being harsh. Since so far every singe one has been located near the southern tip of Florida....
