This has been my slowest week and I have been posting my store on facebook all week trying to get a bite. Anyone else having a slow week? Any tips on getting people to your page? Thank you.

Very slow for me too, and has been since the beginning of the month.  These slow periods happen. Hang in, keep listing. 😀

This is normally a slowing time for us and many others. From now until September.

I think eBay timed all their major changes to this time because of it. So, a slow time of year combined with major changes means even slower than normal.

2 days away from last day to pay taxes.  School year about to end - record numbers going on vacay.  Multiple states returning/not allowing those on unemployment to have federal $300/week.  Graduations, Weddings, Honor thy Mongoose week.....pick one.  Who knows....might just be the search cluster cluck they concocted on the site.  Whatever it is....you are not alone.

Well, you wanted me to go to a listing of yours, so I did.  I am completely confused by it.

What the heck am I getting if I order from you? There is no picture of it, evidently.  I see "example boxes" filled with dozens and dozens of pieces, but all I'm getting is (per the description) "give or take around 20 pieces" of your choice.  Besides the "example boxes," there two other pictures of yet different boxes, each filled with scores of plastic bags full of jewellery, but I'm getting only "give or take around 20 pieces" of your choice.

You say in your listings that you protect yourself against scammers, but what protects me in a situatiin like this, where it isn't even clear what you're going to send me, or how it relates -- if it does -- in any way to any of the pictures in the listing?

The Item Specifics says I'm getting: "Anklets, Bangle, Bracelet, Brooch, Charm Bracelet, Earrings, Hair & Head, Necklace, Pendant/Charm, Pin, Ring, Toe Ring, Watch, Wristband" in the colors of "Beige, Black, Blue, Brown, Gold, Gray, Green, Ivory, Multi-Color, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, White."  But the description says I'm getting "give or take 20 pieces" of whatever you decide to send me.

P.S.  You say in your listing:  "I will take pictures of it all set up and send them to you, along with pictures of the packaging and a picture of it on a USPS scale.  I do that to protect myself from scammers and to give you shipping comfort."

Your photos are not proof that you sent me what's in the photo, or that you sent anything at all, or proof that I received what's in the photo, assuming I receive anything at all.  Not I, nor eBay, nor the USPS will even look at your photos, much less accept them as proof of anything.

I think folks are really stretched with disposable income right now.  Applaud your efforts on social media.  Have never promoted on social media - ever.  Would not know where to start.

Example boxes of what you would get. There is no way someone would honestly think they are going to get thousands of pieces for $25 to $35 . 

A lot of people sell mixed random used Jewelry lots and I was Extremely descriptive on what would be in a purchasers box. I have over a thousand listings, not just 1 that supposedly confused you. I put what would be in the box, I put how many pieces, and what kind of pieces. I know where in any of these post put a link to direct you to this specific item.  Gosh!

I do it anyways.  It gives them comfort and it gives me comfort. Ever sincevI put that on that specific listing I have not had 1 spammed. Also not sure why a couple of you are basically attacking that certain post when I havevover a thousand listings. There is nothing wrong with covering my butt. I have lost lots of money beforevI started doing that.  I also have those pictures taken with the shipping label and film it. There are a lot of scammersvout there who take advantage of small time sellers. Also yes, Ebay will look over the conversations along with tje pictures sent and Yes Ebay will take care of you. Haveva good day

If you have 124 watchers....you definitely have interest - you are getting folks to not only "look" at your items, but watch them.  Pretty impressive - been a while since I have seen that many watchers on something that isn't rare, OOK, etc.

Search is really bamboozled right now.  Can you maybe do a sale?  Those are free (minus giving up a min 5% on sale price) or promote just a few of your *normal* best sellers?  We only use 1-1.5% for our promoted and they still get noticed.  

Wish I had more ideas.....you are light years past me if you do social media effectively.  Good luck!

I do well with the boxes. Wish I could do better. I have done ok with a couple Facebook post. I had flyers made once and passed them out, that went well. It has just been a huge significant loss this week. Someone mentioned a good point earlier, with graduations, weddings and tax season. I put my items on sale, thinking I might need to lower the prices even more. Thank you for being nice and not sarcastic and rude like maxine. I feel she should have put the whole description, not just piece together some that obviously intentionally makes me look bad. That is the only post on their that is listed that way in the description area. Before that I was getting scammed and losing about $100 worth of product and shipping cost a week. I felt like there was a group out there that shares with other scammers who you can rip off. Haven't had an issue since I started doing that . This way if the buyer doesn't like the mixed lot box I make, then I can make a different 1. I also put in there I want the buyers to be happy and customer satisfaction. That is really important to me.
