As of yesterday my account was switched to the new single shipping label format (one that had been available and listed as "beta" for a while).
It is horrible. They've added about 3 more steps to take before you can actually print the label, and no more "Ship your next item" link, so you have to take about 3 more steps to get to your next item to ship. It is horribly time consuming, and when you print 30-40 labels a day, that adds up to a huge amount of wasted time.
I already opened an account with stamps.com and plan to switch over and hopefully label printing will be faster for me than this bloated ajax blue crud.
There is a link on the new format to revert to the old, but it doesn't save it as a preference, so you have to click it for each item.
Anyone able to revert to the old permanently?

You're doing it wrong and killing yourself needlessly.
1. Use print all shipping labels and print all 30-40 at once. Yes. That has been possible for over 1yr now. Call eBay and have them walk you through it step by step if you can't figure it out.
2. With the shipping labels select "scan form". This form will contain the tracking number for all 30-40 listings.
3. Now print your shipping 30-40 shipping labels (it happens all at once) and apply them as you would normally. You may actually save paper here because the printouts all have 2 labels per sheet instead of 1.
4. Take the scan form and packages to the USPS.
5. Have them scan the scan form, give them the 30-40 packages. No need to scan a single one.
6. Get a receipt that the form was scanned and always retain it. I usually have them staple the receipt to my scan form.
7. You're done.
You know why all my USPS offices love me? I'm the only customer from NJ to mid-town Manhattan that has ever used scan forms for my USPS orders. It shows a high level of consideration for everyone involved.

I appreciate the suggestion, but i haven't been able to figure out a way to take advantage of the bulk shipping label printing because of my workflow when I'm packing orders. Maybe you can offer some suggestions.
My biggest problem with the bulk shipping is you can't print the packing slips until AFTER you've paid for the postage. I need to weigh the item WITH the packing slip, because many times I have multiple page packing lists and they can affect the weight.
My other concern is accidentally using the wrong label with a package, especially if I happen to be processing orders not 100% in the same order as the labels were printed out.
Yes, the scan form would be nice, but i'm fortunate that I have a good working relationship with my local post office and they promptly scan my counter-left items. No problems in 4+ years, 30-40 items/day.
I'm not trying to dismiss your answer, and if you have suggestions for a better workflow I'd love to hear them.
Thanks
