I've had several experiences lately where a sold item was restocked and sold again, forcing me to cancel due to being out of stock. This is a new thing that I've not experienced but did find a several year old reddit thread that discussed how it may be a bug that Ebay cannot or refuses to fix. I've addressed this by deleting items that have sold on a daily basis, plus every time I sell something where the listing indicates I still have inventory, counting the remaining to make sure the numbers match. I just caught an item today that I sold but still said I had one for sale. A count indicated that was the only one in the inventory location and a check of my Shopify inventory where all my listings originate indicated I entered a count of 1 when I created the listing.
I use Inkfrog to list from Shopify, and it is is prone to developing random strange bugs, so it might be that. Tryimg to track this down, anyone have similar experiences?

It's been going on for 10 years or more.
It seemed to ease up for awhile, but looks like it's happening more again from some of the recent post here.

I've had it happen every once in a while, but if you're getting it that commonly I'd definitely suspect Inkfrog/Shopify to be the source of the issue.
Are you using any Variations listings? One known possible issue is that if you relist a Variations listing, it'll relist it with the original quantities for each variation.
