I hate glass pipes. Too hot to handle!

However, even worse is your Bic lighter running out and you don't have another!

I like. Is there a set, or just one?

Re: Anyone Know What This Is Used For?

Just one as far as I can tell. I'm trying to figure out what goes with what out of a box and bag. I won't be moving fast with it as I'll be putting my store on vacation tonight.

@gymbo_limbo  Ahhhh, a trick question ... not sure why you would put that cheap McCoy Aniseed pattern pottery with that nice 7-Up can ... but then its a trick right?

I figure the Diet 7 Up heart will draw them in.

Re: Anyone Know What This Is Used For?

1960s McCoy pottery pitcher the cost of shipping almost makes it a worthless item to bother with listing...

I gotta agree with bubble, I pick these up at the Flea for a buck or two, and hang them on hooks in the kitchen.

Glad I didn't waste any money on it. I wonder how many more of these items are like that

Great! 45.8% down over the same time last year with 2x+ items listed. Are you impressed? I'm certainly not!

I have no idea what the purpose of Diet 7UP is.....I'm assuming it's used by people who don't like the taste of real soda/Pop..

it's not worth anything...throw it out... I'm pretty sure recycling senters won't even take the cans for diet 7UP...

Although... If I were still in high school right now... I could give you an idea of how that can could come in handy!!Smiley Wink If you don't have papers, I mean...Smiley Tongue

I have nothing to add except to say that I AM SO GLAD I READ THIS THREAD!  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Anyone Know What This Is Used For?

Pick out the ugliest thing in the load something you'd never display in your home and that will be the treasure. I hate to think how many wiener werkstatte pottery pieces get pitched due to being ugly..

That's somewhat true in clothing too

Ironstone is a trade name for a very durable ceramic that contains no iron and cannot rust. If it has rust on the bottom, it was most likely left sitting for some time on a metal surface which rusted due to moisture trapped there.

Back when the PGP (pottery glass & porcelain) board was THE go to board for that, then they had the brilliant idea of moving one of the most used boards to groups....

The did the same thing with the Coins Board.  Getting help from any specialty board on eBay now is almost impossible, the Coin Board is a ghost town.  A huge resource of free genuine experts was lost with the Board reorganizations.

Since management has changed since that poor decision was undertaken... perhaps the new Community Chiefs should consider putting old category boards back into the Discussion Board navigation?

People wanting coin help would be better off posting on the Soapbox today - since that's where most of the few remaining old Coin Board people congregate - but there is no way they'd know that (or be able to find that either).

Hopefully that thing up there can be used for making money!  (ETA:  Apparently not... Smiley Sad )

If it's transferred rust then Gymbo might be able to remove it with some steel wool or maybe even a magic eraser.
