They changed some of their rules and fees on 3rd party photo hosting this week. You have to pay to use them as a hosting site.

You may want to go to their site and do some reading.
If you want to use PB on a 3rd party site, they want $399 per year from you. They have changed all their terms.
I hope you have all your images on your hard drive.

Apparently, your images will still be saved on Photobucket, but you won't be able to get a link to directly embed them on other sites unless you pay the $39/month, or $399/year subscription. For what it's worth, on most of your listings under this username I am seeing multiple images still showing.
I have a free account with PB and my images on other forums are still showing, but I only use about 1% of the total allowed storage.

I used to pay $25.00 a year for 20 GIGS and that was more than enough. But, they did away with that plan, so, I had to pay $50.00 a year for 50 GIGs, which is way way way more than I need.
Still don't know if it just me or the site.
My pictures are still on my listings.

Sounds like you're using the Plus 50 plan.
Noted above, this all changed recently so you can't use them for 3rd party hosting under that plan.
In order to use them for 3rd party hosting you need to subscribe to the Plus 500 plan $400/year

Plus 50 offers 50 of Storage and No Linking or 3rd Party Hosting

If I can't link anymore, I don't need Photobucket I have many TB of storage and a personal cloud. Photobucket was a cheap backup for eBay images.

And my response to that is to raise both middle fingers in Photobucket's general direction and stop using them. This has prompted me to gradually remove all the inline images from my listings as they get prepped to be relisted, and then at my leisure, archive images for items that have not sold, and delete images for those that have. At the rate I am going, all eBay listings I have will be PB free within 2 to 3 months.
Greed will kill them.

Mine are all still there, no changes.
But there is a pop-up saying I can pay 9.99 a month or 99.99 a year to get a-lot-more-gigabytes.
I guess that's because I didn't have that many pictures there?
No eBay storage, just a couple hundred pictures of local stuff.
?

Most likely why you didn't get hit, I had thousands of images there for eBay.

It is the linking to 3rd party sites that causes the problems.
PB is using up bandwidth every time someone clicks on an image. This is what they are trying to prevent.
Personal stuff should not be an issue as long as it is not connected to a 3rd party site.
Never could figure out why anybody ever used them.
I have all my images on my PC hard drive, a stand alond hard drive, a 2nd PC, and a USB drive.
