Anybody having an issue with adding a tracking number ?

Is anyone have an issue uploading a tracking number on ebay?  I get a red error message to try again later. Thais have been happening for almost 3 hours.  I have given my buyer the tracking number through the EBAY message system, but I would like it to show up in my service metrics.

I never manually upload tracking numbers.

I use ebay shipping labels so the tracking automatically uploads.

So sorry I don't know of there is a issue or glitch going on now.

Though I have pirateship auto add my tracking same as buying on eBay and i haven't experienced any issues.

I did a label an hour ago, it added automatically with no issue.

For USPS, ebay doesn't do cubic pricing at this time. I always cross reference price on pirateship and ebay allows you to link pirareship to account to make it automatically update your labels.

Like on ebay priority labels are always like 10 dollars for me, but on pirareship can get lower.

     I use Pirate Ship for a lot of items. The discounted rates for USPS are about the same as those eBay offers but Pirate Ship also has Priority Mail Cubic which can be cheaper than regular priority mail. I pay for the Pirate Ship labels with my CC which has cash back on every purchase, something you sure don't get with eBay. 

     When it comes to UPS, which I seldom use, Pirate Ship protects shippers from any surcharges UPS as long as the dim's and weight were correct when you purchased the label. EBay is just an estimate and several sellers have posted about getting hit with unilateral surcharges once the package is delivered. 

     Of course using Pirate Ship requires you to log onto their site to create the label and then you have to get that information over into the order on eBay which is simply a matter of copy and paste and marking the item as shipped. Takes a bit more time but after you use it for awhile you get pretty proficient at it. When you go to do your taxes of course you have to log onto the Pirate Ship site to pull your shipping costs for the year and separate out the business and personal shipping costs or create two separate Pirate Ship accounts.

If you link pirateship to ebay account you can use import from ebay, select the order that's pending label and buy, it will automatically change status to shipped on ebay and add the tracking, same as it does when you buy directly on ebay.

     I had it linked for awhile but consistently had issues with the link so I just do it manually which is not a big issue since I have eBay up on one screen and Pirate Ship on the other.

@comrade666  Yes!!!  I DO use Ebay shipping & this is how I combine shipments for multiple purchases & suddenly tonight it won't work.  No error, it just spins & spins & spins.   But I found this thread & @pjcdn2005  answer worked.  Ridiculous that they moved it, for no apparent reason.
