Any way to fix my screw up?

I had a customer leave me a positive feedback today. He was really cool about a shipping delay. I wanted to leave an additional/follow up feedback for the buyer, thanking him for his patience and understanding ... but mistakenly left it for the feedback he left me.

I know it's minor but do you think ebay can/will remove it?

@inhawaii Doesn't it still work out for the buyer? It reads just fine the way it is and was a nice gesture on your part. If I saw that, it would make me want to purchase from you. Don't think you have anything to remove or alter....

My intentions was to leave it on HIS feedback profile not mine.  But oh well.  I guess no harm.

I see no problem with what you did. Can you not now just do the same thing on the feedback that you left for them?

As a buyer, I wouldn't want those comments on my feedback page.

Just because I was happy to wait ages to receive my item from one seller, doesn't mean I would be happy on a regular basis.

Other sellers, especially sellers who are a bit slack at their job, might try and take advantage of my good nature and kindness if they see those feedback comments...

No, you can't fix it.

Doesn't it show up on the buyers profile?

With the reply as FB received from others?

As mentioned,  I don't see why you can't still leave a follow up on the feedback you already gave the buyer that will show on his record.   If you sort your feedback for feedback left for others, it is available.

I wouldn't bother. If the FB he left isn't a neg/neutral, in a few weeks no one will notice. People don't scroll through the positives looking for such things.

That's pretty granular, though.  I doubt people would take the trouble.
