Or in other words, to those who use a Ship From address that is not their own home address, how do you do it? And is it legal too? Because I don't really want to use my own home address, and I'm confident that whatever I would be selling wouldn't need to be returned, as I make sure that I'm selling something not broken, and would be very detailed in any wears or tears in my item, if it were so to have any.
Anything would be much appreciated.

@j-bundle1222, the best way to do this would be to get a mailbox at the Post Office, or with a company that provides mailboxes.
You have to provide a valid ship-from address and return address where you can receive mail.
There is no way to be certain that you will never have an item returned. If the buyer opens a case with a reason that is considered "not as desccribed", then they are entitled to a refund. You don't have to accept the return, you can refund their full payment with having the item returned if you don't want it back.

I use both a PO, and a direct address as I am a purchaser also. Some sellers will not ship to a PO box.
Oh and you really need to read eBay's buyers grantee as this is what you agree to using eBay to sell on.
No returns does not mean NO REFUNDS
There are also the scams you need to protect your self from;

Good luck.

Just for information..........
It is certainly not uncommon for a buyer to mail back an item himself.....in other words, you would not know an item is being returned......until it is. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen.......so whatever you "get" as an address, needs to be monitored pretty closely........

You cannot be sure that an item won't be returned. The buyer might file a claim for item "Not as described" and those claims almost always are found in the buyer's favor. The item might be damaged during shipping. Or you and the buyer might not agree on whether your listing description was accurate.
If you don't want to use your home address: Don't use a fake address. Rent a PO Box.

Ebay has a address on file for you. That's the address that will come out as the "TO" address on the return shipping label should a buyer ever do a return.
I would think you would want that same address on all your outgoing shipping labels as well.
All those transactions that go off without a hitch and wont be returned, what does it matter if it shows your home address?
If you're THAT concerned about it, then perhaps it's time to rent a PO box?
Good luck and stay safe!

The post office and other shippers have requirements, esp packages, they have to have a sent from address on them. As far as name goes, the buyers have that when they buy.

What 'ship from' address are you referring to?
You are required to provide accurate contact details in your registration with the eBay.
You are required to provide accurate item location in your listings.
You are required to provide an accurate return address to the post office ro other carrier.
A post office box seems like a good option for you.

sound like your fishing on how to work the system as a seller. Forgive me if wrong!
You have no listing active on here!
If your so confident on your items not being returned or damaged, why are you posting this?
Sounds like you want to be a third party seller and do drop shipping. Just my assumption!

I think they are referring to the shipping label option to provide an alternative "Shipping from" ZIP Code that does not match the ZIP Code of your return address, when you are not mailing from the Post Office in your own home ZIP Code. This ensures that zoned postage rates are calculated correctly from the actual mailing location.

Yes. Use https://www.shipto.me to mask return address, and still be able to receive returns.

The OP can no longer be found on eBay.

Get a store subscription. Then your name can be your store name. Get a PO box for your address.
