I need any good ideas on where I can get inventory that will sell well on eBay, I’ve recently got a loan for product sourcing, so even though I’ve sold a big on eBay for 20 years I can now purchase higher priced items or larger quantities, any help is appreciated.

Why don't we start out with you telling us, in detail, where you source your current items??? Names, addresses, contact names, phone numbers, email & whatnot. Also, let us know what you pay for the items you sell, & what kind of margin you would like to make.
With that information we may be able to give you some valuable assistance.

So you have been here for 20 years, and you want sellers here to tell you where they source their items? Many successful sellers here worked very hard to find their items and they probably think you should do the same. Also there will be few sellers who will willingly lend a hand to the competition.

@thetreasurelocker Unfortunately, asking potential competitors where they source their items is not a good approach.

It is actually a rather simple concept.
If you are looking for a product that you can buy wholesale, then sell for profit, while not impossible it is very hard but there is a surefire method that just takes a lot of hard work, you are the United States, opportunities for things to sell on ebay are literally everywhere.
There are thousands of online auctions of all kinds running at any one time. Go to one of them, pick out some items, use terapeak to see what the items have been selling for on ebay then bid low enough to make a decent profit, this same method can be used at yard sales, facebook marketplace, flea markets and anywhere else items are sold.

There are some particular items now that you would probably never think about that are bringing very high prices on ebay simply because of supply chain issues.

Drop shipping is a risky business platform and a one way ticket to suspension for many.

I would pay the loan back immediately. A loan for inventory when you have no idea what to even spend it on is a recipe for disaster. You buy the wrong thing or get misled (which is extremely likely) then you now have bad merchandise and a loan to pay off.
It could even be good merchandise and still a terrible mistake. Like 5000 units of "Super Jimmy Widget" at 10 cents on the dollar when the global demand for "Super Jimmy Widgets" is only one unit a week.
That is a problem that collectible speculators often run into, "I have 86 Beta Black Lotuses, I am RICH" except that only 4 of them a year sell on ebay.

There is a search bar in this community board, that allows you to put key words to search. Entering the word "sourcing" will bring you to this thread, that was opened 30 minutes before yours. It is chockfull of information. Sometimes, searching is better than posting a new thread on a age old topic, unless, of course if the results are dated.
