The second store that I had to close in the past 2 months, with a 3rd on the chopping block. I'm so glad that I don't rely on eBay for an income, or I'd be in trouble. Now I have that Queen song stuck in my head.

Right there with ya. Selling on this site is like setting up a stand in the middle of Death Valley.

I feel your pain. 3 years ago did about 3K monthly with 800 items. Today I usually do from $600-800 monthly with 2000 items and I work at it 7 days a week about 12 hours a day. Not much hope anymore but a 71 year old handicapped woman has to have some extra income and it keeps my mind sharp.

I closed on up with the thought of making the other an anchor. So I moved about 1100 items offer. And now for the last 30 days I haven't sold much with 1600 listings. This is definitely scary.

That's why I'll never retire, plus it keeps me very active.

I've had a few people on here tell me to do that a while back. I didn't, and just as well. I would have done a bunch of work for nothing. I'm just going to let them run out their time on eBay and then I'll just list 50 of my cheapest items a month here on eBay.

I was a TRS for almost 2 years until I ran out of good stuff to sell 🙂

I never had a store and still never would...waste of money, when search engine doesnt work.

Close your Stores Time. You are giving away money and still sales are not what you want.

Trust me, if you got good stuff to sell...list normally...and if folks want it...they will buy.

Good advice. Yes, when you list items not in demand or over-priced and buyers are not willing to buy those items then definitely a store is not worth it. At some point a seller with a store needs to do a little accounting and figure that out.

I'm still TRSP, but that will go the way of the dinosaur soon, as my sales numbers numbers continue to shrink. Total YTD sales are now down to 104 on this account.
