I'm now doubling and tripling the time span between sales on my accounts. This is major record territory for me. I have accounts that haven't produced sales in over a month or two. In the past month I've only had 1 sale on this account for less than 5.00 out of 10,000.00 in inventory.
That's completely crazy. All my accounts on eBay are doing the same...Nothing. It's not the economy or the stuff I'm selling because my accounts are mirrored on other venues, and my sales there, are normal an steady. If it were either of those issues, than my accounts would be dead on those sites also.

I hear that everyday when I cash out my stores, or when I check what sold on other venues. I just don't here it on eBay lately. But it doesn't hurt my revenue stream. If it did, I would have had to move my inventory off eBay months ago. I have more inventory than I know what to do with.
If I wanted to list it all, it would take a small army a year to do it. Maybe even longer. For example: I have over 16,000 silver age comics, with most in NM condition. It would take one person about a year to list them all. Amazing Spider-man, X-men, etc...Mostly Marvel and some DC, and lots of duplicates of rare key issues of 1st appearances.
That's not even a tiny, tiny fraction of what I have. eBay is not a living for me, it was just another venue for me to get rid of stuff on.
If we can't see it, it doesn't exist.

Here's another example of how much inventory I have. I bought a house with contents a while back, with the intent on remodeling the house and flipping it. So, I packed up the contents, an tight packed them on the second floor, and the living room. so I could have the kitchen torn out along with both bathrooms.
So, next thing I know, I'm tight packing the full basement with contents I bought from another house because I have a huge entrance to it from the garage. Then I end up filling the second story of the garage, and eventually the 2 bay garage itself. Now the entire house is just a tight packed storage facility that costs me very little, and is a huge write off for now.
The inside of the house alone is over 1600 sq. ft. I put a brand new furnace and oil tank in it an I never even got to fire it up except to test it.

Who cares? This is a eBat forum. People want to learn how to sell here. Got any tips?

I was just looking at your listings and I could easily mirror them with all the garage, basement, an attic contents that I'm always storing away. Actually I could mirror a lot of sellers on this board with what I already have stored. The one I would have trouble with are those selling airplane tools. I never get them in my area.

If you mirrored my listing you would be selling. Cha-Ching.
Outta here. I have had a few beers and don't want to say what I really think.

Perfect time for an 'estate' on-site auction and sell the real estate at the same time!

And why would I do that?

Well, you bought the house to flip it. And since you are like me, that isn't the only storage space you have filled up.
Actually, the best time would have been one of the first few on-site estate auctions in the spring.
I have tons of stuff to list, but no desire with this past week of ebay programming problems. Outside of just no time. A lot of things have been bringing more at on-site estate auctions than here.

It sounds more like you are a hoarder than a seller?

Real estate auctions don't do well near me. I'm too rural. Not enough buyers would show up. Right now it's a good write off. Storage is really expensive. A 10x10 is about 80.00 a month for example. Lets just say I threw all this stuff in a bunch of 10x10's. It would cost me about 4000.00 a month. vs about 600.00 a yr. that I pay in property taxes. No morg. on it, so I just look at it as money in the bank.
I have way too much content in there for an estate auction. My stuff would have to sell in huge lots to get it done within a day. I'll eventually pick through it all, an thin it out over time. I just did way too much buying this past year, while not spending the time to go through it. I've been in buy an pack mode. I don't like passing up really good deals sometimes.

If you saw what I have, you'd think that. The difference between me an a hoarder, is that everything I have I'll part with. Try to pry something away from a hoarder an you'll have a fight on your hands. I can't tell you how many times I've been called to come out an buy stuff, and the person is a hoarder, and wastes my time because they will not let go of anything when it comes time to do so.
They are usually being pressured by a family member to call someone like me. An that will put me in a weird position, that I don't like, so I'll leave if I think that's what is going on. Hoarders are deeply attached to their stuff, even if its trash, like rotten food stuff.

Unless he made MAJOR changes to what he's doing, it would result in the same situation. All accounts are linked so they all take a hit. Until he starts moving product he will get nowhere.

He decided to do a test and it worked, he got a sale. A $4.49 item that sold for $4.49. If only he would do the same with all his other stuff he could be a top seller on Ebay with all his unsold inventory. I'm not talking about giving the stuff away, but selling at prices buyers are willing to pay.

So it started by Ebay hiding you items, and now they won't even let you buy items. WOW... I have never not been able to use the BIN button or pay immediately after doing so.
