Analyzing sold items history via search criteria

I’ve bought and sold items over many years but not continually. I’ve noticed the prices in the category

of listings I am interested in has gone up quite a bit. I want my items now to sell at the current market value.

To do this I’d like to look at recent sales within the same search criteria I use as a buyer.

Either use the Advanced Search bar and filter to 'Sold' or use Terapeak. >> Terapeak Product Research - eBay Seller Hub

Terapeak.....last 3 years of history (can include ALL eBay sites)

Regular Sold Listings filter ....90 days (only .com listings)

Yep. Surely it'll cover the OP's requested, "... to sell at the current market value" requirement. Good luck, @rpongon .

The Terapeak data is probably the best you will get, but Ebay sales data is often too volatile to be useful.

Many items are listed for prices which are not based in any reality. You will find sales data for some items which were highly underpriced, many of which sold to other resellers who offered them at a higher price on Ebay. You will also find items which were priced based on optimism, and sold because they were the only example of the item listed at that time.

Current market value may exist for only a nanosecond. Current market value may not reflect the condition or quality of the seller or the listing.

Market value may increase because there are more than one potential buyer and appear to decrease when there is only one.

Market value may decrease because a seller will take any offer they receive when their rent or mortgage is due.

Market value may appear to have gone up because all of the sellers willing to consider offering the item are playing follow the leader, or going down for that matter.
