Today, 07/08, I noticed I had been given 5000 free listings for cell phones; the expiration is 09/30. Is this an error or have sellers ceased employing e-Bay to vend their phones?

EBay is requiring sellers to redo their phone listings by August 27th, so they are offering free listings to ease the pain.
that would be great if majority of people who got the offer sold cell phones...most don't. And I would never sell such things on ebay, just asking for issues, scammers love electronics! Never have gotten any worthwhile promotional offer from ebay, aside from the gazillion free listings everyone got last year. Other wise, ebay promotional dept has not once provided a promotional offer that reflects the items/categories I sell in.

That's nothing. Does anyone remember the offer to list 2,147,483,647 luxury watches? I received it last year.

Yesterday at my local grocery store they had an item on sale at 2 for $7.
The non-sale price was $3.50 each.

Or maybe this is eBay's way of telling you that for each cell phone you list, you will get 4,999 non-payers 🙂
