I’m pretty disappointed and shocked quite frankly that an item I had sold to a client was deemed unable to authenticate, and in so many ways I was warned about selling further fraudulent items. This ring was purchased when first introduced by Bvlgari around 2000 from Mayors as a gift to me. Which is why I am so taken back. I recently purchased a Bvlgari box for better resale cause the original box was lost. I just want to know since I have no feedback whatsoever as to WHY it was rejected. Are there any differences in the early issues of this ring so many years ago to now? It has two stamps. They are so tiny I could barely even see them with a loop. One is illegible to me the other days 750. It’s been worn for years and the gold is very soft and surface worn. Or is it even possible to have purchased a fake through a chain jewelry store? Ugh. My listing was removed. Here is a photo. I would appreciate any advice.

Photo wasn't attached but honestly don't take it personally either way. Just sell it elsewhere and I'm sure whoever bought it for you as a gift bought a nice, legitimate ring.
There is no way that eBay will ever be able to 100% every thing they get in that program so if anything it's just an odds-game for a lot of things unless it's really obviously a fake (such as shoes, purses, etc).

Authenticators sometimes make mistakes or reject items because the "condition of your item" was different than what was stated in your listing. Do NOT try to resell this on EBAY or your account could be terminated.

I don't think they have many experts to authenticate items. So, rather than pass it as authentic, they just return it to you as not authentic. Doesn't mean it isn't real. I mean, who are these people who authenticate items?

Thank you!!! They did finally let me know that it wasn’t that they didn’t think it was real, it tested real gold ect, it lacked the hallmark standards for the brand for resale. I also read this particular rings stamps has changed throughout the years.
