I could have not written a better script for how to destroy a Seller's business.
So, am I the only one hurting.
1. Multiple overlapping technical problems/glitches.
2. Loss of the Sellers' ability to have sales.
3. Increase in postal rates.
4. No power to fight bogus SNADs---even when proof is there.
5. Free Shipping Free Returns-----assuming higher risks.
6. Losing Top Rate Plus Status--no 10% fee discount.
7. Loss of pictures: rebuilding listings/finding pictures. all killing the time for creating new listings.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ etc. etc, etc
8........99.
We should get t-shirts that read:
We got (99) problems and drowning in Sales ain't (1), one!

I'm happy to let everyone know that because of the feedback we heard from members of the Community, we no longer require 14 days after an item is removed from a markdown sale before it can be placed on sale again. Please go here for more information

My sales are down by half, technical problems don't help. My fees are higher. Many of the items I sell can simple be copied to another medium, so the 30 day free return policy may put me out of bussiness. I worked hard to earn the top rated seller badge and now the rules have changed. I have allways refunded in full any customer who was unhappy, but like others here I fear the dishonest will take advantage of this new policy. We will see.

Over on Amazon a while ago they instituted automatically-approved returns. Customers get a mailing label from Amazon, the cost debited to the seller. People are understanding now that if they claim "inaccurate website description" they get free returns. They don't even admit any more to remorse. I was on the phone with seller support and the rep said they know this is getting to be a real problem. So thanks Amazon for training people to expect free returns.
