I just sold 3 concert tickets for $405 and was legitimately excited for the sale until I started looking into the buyer. This buyer's username is a mix of 19 letters, numbers, and symbols and has no feedback whatsoever. I went so far as to look up their address on Google Maps, but nowadays anybody can look up an address and put it as their own. Their ebay and paypal addresses match up, though. I am just wondering, am I being incredibly paranoid? Should I do something? I did contact the buyer to let them know that these tickets are digital and will be emailed to them, to which they responded 'thank you'. I need insight on this situation.

Indeed.
Buyers can open INRs 30 days after last estimated delivery date on ebay, longer on paypal and even longer with a credit card whether you have tracking or not
Winning the case depends on the tracking but having a case opened does not.

Digitally delivered goods rather than mailed goods with a tracking number are easily scammed. I agree send the tickets in an envelope with a tracking number. The user ID is a new user and Ebay generates these .

Well no. You don't have to do this. You can upload the tracking number to the claim and just wait. Ebay will eventually pay attention to it and it should be closed in your favor since it was delivered. Calling just gets it done days or even weeks sooner. If you prefer to wait, you can. Your choice.

You'll need to weigh the costs between the overnight shipping fee and being totally ripped off for the tickets . I'm sure you can see which one to choose . Tulips

In reading this board I have seen cases where it is suggested you do call because sometimes ebay does not automatically do it themselves.

the buyer can state that the email made her/his computer monitor smell funny when he opened it and ebay will find in the buyer's favor
I very seriously doubt that is true . If scams like that took a foothold too many sellers would go out of business . I'm sure e bay realizes that . Tulips

As I said before. It is your choice. I recommended and others recommended to load the tracking and then call Ebay. But if you prefer to wait on Ebay to just auto close it, whether that days a few days or weeks, it is your choice to make. Do whatever is best for you.
Ebay will eventually close the case. How much time that will take may vary. Also another thing to consider is that if you make the decision to just let it ride and you will wait until Ebay just does their thing because you don't want to call them for whatever reason you may have, Ebay may NOT close it as expected, in your favor. So there it that risk when you don't want to call as well.
But again, your choice. Do whatever is best for you.

While it sounds like a very silly thing to say, I'm not so sure that Ebay would not accept it and allow the buyer to return the item at the seller's expense.
I say that because there have been TWO cases I've discussed on the Weekly Chat in the past month or so when Ebay allowed a SNAD to stand when the buyer complained they did not get what they ordered.
The Ebay purchase record showed that they ordered item A.
The buyer in the SNAD said they received item A.
The buyer submitted a pic with the SNAD showing what they received which was Item A.
The buyer's payment showed they purchased item A.
But Ebay allowed the SNAD to stand as being an item they did not order. Obviously not true at all, but that does not appear to matter anymore in the return process.
