Allow Offers ?

I currently only sell at the moment and don't offer "best offer". How are buyers able to send me a price of what they want to pay for something? I guess I learned something new this month. I had a second buyer who wanted something cheaper than what I am charging today through an email. This person "saids he doubt I will sell anything at my prices." I kinda felt that was rather rude. He also wanted to buy something from me as I notice the "Best Offer" next to his statement. I sell stamps and he sells stamps. He is charging like $25.00 for shipping and I am charging free USA shipping. Can you imagine the nerve? I don't allow offers and it is turned off but somehow this is the second person who wants a lower price than what I am selling something. This guy kinda hit a nerve with me and felt I had to block him.

When you use the "ask the seller a question" feature and the seller does not accept offers, one of the options is to "send an offer anyway".

Ignore, block if you feel you need to, and move on.  Anyone can message you for any reason they choose.

This person would have been on my BBL before I either ignored or responded!

My take is that there are enough good buyers on ebay that I'm willing to forgo a sale to a wannabe lowballer who, if he doesn't get me to lower the price enough to satisfy him, he'll be difficult, possibly returning the item as NAD or worse, come back fishing for a partial.

Sometimes I doubt I will sell anything at my prices.
