Advertisements on ebay!

I am fed up with E-Bay tracking every dang move I make on the web!! I also am also sick and tired of E-Bay forcing advertisements on my account when I already pay 13% selling fee to E-Bay and PayPal!!! I do not need Quicken Loans nor any other **bleep** sponsored by Evil-Bay!!! Evil-Bay and must use PayPal is the highest charging percent rate in the Country over Realtors, Car Dealerships and so much more then they force Ads on you!!!  Anyone else agree?

Nope. I use an ad blocker. I don't see any of the stuff you've written about.

I have one but it was put there by my computer guy several years ago.  It just does whatever it does all on its own and even updates itself.  I like it!

Advertising can be annoying, many think that, like commercials that you tune out. But while this is frustrating, many also use an Ad Blocker so they don't see these things. You might want to try it! I think you will like it very much.

Everybody tracks everything these days.

Sometimes it cracks me up when I see targeted ads at sites that won't allow me access unless I turn off my ad blocker. I made the mistake of looking at a camping toilet once...you can let your imagination do the rest...lol!

I do know that ebay does use the targeted ad services, I see ads for my own listings all the time, which I also find quite hysterical...because they aren't showing me something I might actually buy. They are showing me things I already have!

If you are talking about the ads that eBay places on your listings, then no you probably don't need them. Unless you need eBay, of course.

For selling a $15 vinyl record, Amazon charges 15% plus $1.80. That works out to 27%. The fees on that same record on eBay with PayPal works out to 14.9%

I would rather have all of that instead of eBay showing other sellers' items on MY listing, or telling them as soon as they purchase from me who has the item for less

Unless you have an ad blocker get used to it as EVERYWHERE you go on the web you are being tracked. I have advertisements from Home Depot and Kohls right now that keep popping up. It's not just EBay and it is not going away anytime soon.
