Hi, I had a car listed on a buy it now. A person used the buy it now facility and then tried to hit me with a really crazy price. We had a series of messages between us that basically ended in him threatening me. The whole point of this question is has my address been revealed to this person now? Am I at risk? He used the buy it now but obviously no payment has been made. I cancelled the transaction at my end but it requires him to agree and cancel at his end? Can someone advise please?

Motor vehicle listings are non binding. Either buyer/seller can walk away. The buyer does not get the seller's address. With most motor vehicle listings, the 2 parties arrange a time and place to meet to inspect the vehicle, hand over cash/cashier's check in exchange for the keys and title.
