I added insurance to 2 of my First Class packages this morning. I was charge the extra fee for the insurance, but when I printed my shipping label it had the price of shipping without the added insurance.
So my question is, are my packages insured or not. If not where do I go to get a refund on these extra fees I paid for insurance, EBAY or Post Office? Thank you

Did you purchase USPS insurance or Shipcover?

And folks wonder why I dont use this.
You should be able to cancel the labels, I do not know how or I would tell you .
Speculating on some old posts on the boards:
You might try under orders to do this buy clicking on the label and cancel it.
Anoughter has a link to do this:
I would advise to start over after canceling the labels.

I have the same darn problem and here it is over TWO YEARS since the first comment regarding this issue! Why pay extra for insurance when there is absolutely no indication that the item is indeed insured? It doesn't show up on the shipping label nor on the receipt! So how would you prove to a postal clerk that the item was insured should it arrive damaged? Hmmm....

I would assume the scan carries that info, no??

I also frequently have to buy insurance but when I print labels I select the option to not show the price of shipping. So to answer your question, the insurance fees along with shipping charges should be stored in the scan label information.
