Adding Variation To Already Listed Item

I have looked but cannot find how to add a variation to an active listing.

I knw how to create a new listring with variations.

Does anyone knw how to add a variation to an active listing?

This next question has nothing to do with my OP here and I did not want to start a new thread.

Why is it that when buying from China, if the item is not as descried, the chinese seller starts a return and *I* have to pay for return shippping?

Be more specific... you can't add "attributes" or "options" in your variation listing? Sometimes there's a glitch that removes that "create your own" button.

If you don't know what I'm referring to, go to variations edit page and on top there is another button to edit "attributes and options".
