Due to the recent changes to the comic categories, I now have thousands of listings requiring new specifics. The problem I am running into after adding the new specifics is 3 of the recommended (I call them required since they constantly remind you) specifics for category 259104. Comic and Graphic novels category now recommends a grade (if it's a graded book), Certification Number (If it's graded), and Professional grader (if it's graded). Since 90% of the listed comics and graphic novels are raw and ungraded, why would this be recommended? Before someone comments, I know you can dismiss the reminder on the dashboard Item specifics by clicking into add item specifics 1 at a time and checking the box that says do not ask for item specifics again. For someone with thousands of listings, this does not seem a plausible solution. I don't have the option to dismiss in bulk sadly nor do I want to add wrong info.
Has anyone run into this issue while listing a comic? Technically nonprofessional graders should not be using a number grade since it is reserved for professional grading while collectors should use NM, VF+, etc. grading system. Are we just filling invalid info on non-graded books now? I thought the goal of this change was to make for a better buying experience for the customer, but all it has done is force a bunch of bad info into our listings specifics. Any advice or workarounds are welcome.

From what I can tell , based on the screen shot, none of your highlighted item specifics are REQUIRED. They are merely recommended. My rule for Recommended: If it doesn't apply, let it lie.
You do NOT have to fill these out. If it is too time consuming to make the reminder go away from the dashboard, just ignore them.

If these Item specifics are required, then you should add more. If not, you don't need to.

We all have run into whether it’s comics or sports cards. They lumped it all together and my business is down 70% because no one can get to the listings without going through hoops. Terrible.
