Actual Ebay Representative (how to contact)

Just found out how to reach an actual ebay representative on the phone.  Select help , scroll all the way to bottom,  hit contact button, select your topic, then it will bring you to the auto bot messaging system.

In the messaging bot just type in " Customer Service " and the auto bot will give you 2 options one with a number to call and the second for a rep to call you back.  

I have called 2x and I have selected representative to call me back.  They have called back my associated number to my account in less than a minute both times.

Thanks for the info in case I ever need to call CS. I've not had a reason in 20 years now, but you never know.

The phone reps do not work for eBay so don't bother with them. They work for a subcontractor out of Utah.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
