Thought I'd post this just in case anyone else is going through the same thing.
This all started happening as of 10-12-22. This all seemed to start when they requested me to verify my identity (after being active on eBay for over 18 years). So I completed the verification and also requested a callback to verify that everything was fine. Soon after the callback, the rep at ebay verified that everything was fine and the red and black box that popped up in my payments page is now gone. But now, the options to request a payout is grayed out and it won't provide a date for any future payouts. Just got off the phone with a guy from eBay's leadership team and he stated that this is happening because ebay is now processing their own payments and apparently has new regulations which require more verification. He stated that most seller accounts need to go through this process and although my account has been verified and everything is fine, it is now going to take up to 5 business days for another internal team to finalize the review. I know, it doesn't make sense to me either. Seems like ebay has the most backward processes ever and instead of evolving, they don't. Anyhow, thought I'd share this info with you all in case you're going through the same thing.
