Can't you contact the bank and ask them? Didn't know you could put a checking account on hold? Either it is open or it is closed.
Once you get this all sorted out, if you have not done so, you will need to sign up for Managed Pay before selling.
If the account number is for eBay and are selling using same account, you should be able to find it looking at your account information.
