Account Type: Not Specified

I was just reading about the new Seller Hub and discovered that if you're a professional or business seller you will be forced to use it, but if you're a personal seller, you can still use "My Ebay." Well, I had no idea which type of account I have (I don't have a store) so I looked into that and found on my account page that my Account Type is "Not Specified." (No wonder I didn't know which I was.) Back when I became an ebay seller in 1999 or something, there was apparently no distinction between a "personal" and a "business" or "professional" seller and I was never required to choose one or the other. I haven't had any problems as yet in relation to this. Is there any reason for me to edit the account type, so that I'm officially a "personal" or a "business" seller? Or should I just leave well enough alone?

Re: Account Type: Not Specified

When I checked my account, started in 1997, I found "not specified," too.  I simply changed it to "Individual" because I do not have an eBay store, do not use Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro, do not need or want Seller Hub and rarely list more than 25-30 items at a time.

I registered in 1998 and started selling in 1999 and my account is listed as Individual. I don't recall ever selecting anything so I don't know where that came from. However I guess because I was using Selling Manager I was still dumped into Seller Hub anyway.
