Hey guys. So eBay recently restricted my account. I’m not sure why that happened, however, they sent me an email detailing what I had to do to get my account reinstated. They said that I had to provide proof of delivery for all my items sold on eBay, but I’m not exactly sure what they mean by that. Do I have to send them email with all the tracking numbers for my orders? All my orders have tracking numbers and most of them have been delivered so I’m not sure why they would request that information from me. I’m asking here because eBay hasn’t responded to my emails.

what @ebooksdiva said....
the 'department' that needs this information apparently does not have access to your shipping history, so, even though it seems redundant, you need to respond/reply to the email with the appropriate tracking numbers/statuses to the email inquiry.....

Proof of delivery means they want the tracking numbers. Even if you bought your shipping labels on eBay you still need to upload them.

Thanks for the response. Yes, all my orders have tracking numbers and all of them have either been delivered or are in transit. But my question is do I have to ask them to review my account? Or do they automatically do it? Because the email says that I should reply to it in order for them to review my account. But the email doesn’t accept replies so I’m not sure what to do

Thank you for response. I’ve attempted to email them but it says that the original email doesn’t accept replies, so I’m not sure what to do. I get this message when I email them on eBay
Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, this address doesn’t accept incoming email so you won’t receive a response. You can get help with your issue at www.ebay.com/help/home. You’ll find details on how to contact us there too.
Thanks,

Do you have receipts for all those lego items you sold. That's a lot of sales and money for a new seller to start out with. Ebay watches sellers who display this type of selling behavior very closely. Not saying this is your situation, but lots of stolen items being sold on eBay especially from your part of the US. Train robberies, port theft, etc. Just giving you a heads up. You need to have receipts and invoices for those items because that's coming next to re activate your account.
Good luck to you.

when you say e-mail...do you mean ebay 'messaging'
i think you don't 'reply' as in the normal sense of the word, but the message displays a button to "Respond Now" (or similar)
No?

You need to go to the order details on each listing and add the tracking numbers (add/edit). The tracking numbers have to be viewable on eBay.
Then contact eBay on Facebook or Twitter and ask if that's sufficient or do you need to do more?

Thanks for the response. I work in liquidation, specifically with Target merchandise. I basically buy pallets of Target merchandise at wholesale prices from a local liquidator. I sell much more than just legos. What do you mean by receipts? Like documents confirming where did I get them?

Yes, sorry I meant to say reply

Yes exactly. If you have them and can provide them, your account will be re activated. I used to sell overstock, unclaimed freight and damaged merchandise years ago. Things are much different now. Hope you get back to selling soon.
All the best.

@jego-2748 re this same scenario, past posts say there is a button on the ebay message to click on to upload all your tracking numbers.
also, as stated, you will have to prove that your listed items were legit by providing individual invoices/ proof of purchase. eBay won't accept the 'pallet' receipt bc that proves nothing to them.
eBay wants to make sure your items are not stolen merchandise, even if that seller did not steal them, it does not mean the merchandise was not stolen.
every time a 'casual' seller suddenly has a surge of listings and sales in a short period of time that is out of the ordinary for that seller, it looks very suspicious.
Online selling platforms are under heavy pressure to scrutinize and stop stolen items from being sold thru them.
If you can provide the tracking numbers for the merchandise sent to buyers and then the individual receipts for that merchandise, eBay will most likely re-instate you, but not before at least these 2 things are done.
Good Luck
