Hello,
my account was recently restricted and I was informed to add tracking info for all of my orders. However I have already done so and was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue or solution. This was ebay’s message:
“…This restriction means the following:
- Your selling privileges are temporarily restricted. You won’t be able to create new listings or revise any listings that are live on our site. You also can’t register a new account at this time.
- If you're a seller participating in managed payments, we are withholding your future payouts. You’ll start getting paid again after you resolve your restriction and your account is reinstated.
- Some of your listings may have been removed. You’ll find details of any listings we removed below.
- All fees paid or payable for listings that are ended and/or hidden from search will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.
To help us remove the restriction on your account, you’ll need to:
- Provide proof of delivery for all of the items you sold on eBay by uploading tracking. Track items you've sold.
More specific details are provided below.
Once you complete these requirements, reply to this email, and we’ll review your account. We may ask you to provide additional information during our review.
The safety of our community is a top priority for us. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Thanks,
eBay”
Thank you!!

You are a new seller. There is a rule Ebay has had for years regarding new sellers and holding funds for a period of time to make sure all goes well.

Ebay making such a request is not unusual. We read about it fairly regularly here in the forums, so you are not alone. Since you have responded to eBay’s request, have you been reinstated?

"We may ask you to provide additional information during the interview."
eBay may want to know if you are an authorized distributor of Apple AirPods or they might want to see the receipts for them.

I don't think this is about tracking because you have great feedback from your buyers. I think this about making sure the AirPods are legit and your sourcing is legit. You will need to provide eBay with where you got them from and the purchase receipts. These are unfortunately items that are regularly stolen and sold on eBay making them high risk items. Heck, everything new from Apple will raise eyebrows especially if you have lots of them.
