Account Restricted, Shipping Performance Policy — Item Not Received Rate

my account got restricted yesterday because of the new INS policy, but when i read the policy and contacted some ebay agents i found that ebay is contradicting itself, they told me i will have to wait for 980days, and in their policy, they said the evaluation will be every 2 weeks, and another agent told me it will be every month, the agent doesn't explain anything they just tell you the account is restricted and they close the chat.

they also said this policy will start on 24/jul, and transactions before 2/jul will not be evaluated on their policy page, but then they said i was restricted because i had high INR in the last year.
this is weird, i posted this issue in a facebook group and i found many sellers with the same restriction, some of them have 0 ''not received'' cases

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

You are in Morocco.

Are you using Tracked Shipping?

Are you responding quickly to Item Not Received disputes?

 

Are you dropshipping from China? Get a better supplier, this one is incompetent (at best).

Sell into the European Union. The market is slightly larger than the USA.

The Irish site lists in English and the French in French.

Selling fakes, especially NFL/MLB fakes is a big problem.  Counterfeits are prohibited and the NFL goes after people, trust me. Your feedback is not painting a good picture your selling behavior either.  

 

Sorry, my guess is you are on your way to a suspension and will not be able to sell on eBay again.  eBay takes counterfeit sales very seriously and you're lucky you got away with it as long as you did.  It is  in the best interest of eBay to prohibit you from further breaking more rules.  It is also in the best interest for our customers. 

 

Bottom line, if you can't abide by the rules, you can't sell on eBay.

i have exactly the same problem with my account. 

I emailed and chated a couple of times with ebay - no answer for my requests.

Did you received some solution for your problem?

Hi Alex

What did the notice say when you received your restriction/suspension? You sell coins from other countries.  Were they listed on any other sites? Did you have these coins in your possession or were you drop shipping them from another site?  Were they deemed unauthentic? The reason I am asking is that many shops from Israel have been shut down due to drop shipping from 3rd parties which is not allowed on eBay.  You can reach out on social media via FB to see if they can advise you what to do next:

These are US CS agents who actually work for eBay and may better serve you and your problem at hand.  Many positive posts here on this forum with their ability to be helpful.

all my items in my possession. not drop shipping.

received restriction - "...Upon evaluation of your recent transactions, it comes to our attention that the INR% (item not received rate) of your eBay account is high compared to other eBay sellers..."

1.65% compare to 0.80% average.

i try to enter to https://www.facebook.com/ebayForBusiness/ but it not give to access.

this is a message: "This content is currently unavailable
The owner may have removed the content or restricted access to it."

 

what i doing?

Try it again later, Alex.  It's 7:45 AM in the US where I am located at and I believe the CS agents are in California it's 5:45 PM there so no one is on duty yet.  Hang in there.

Time zones are your friend.

There are real people on those Chats and they are not confined to a script like the phone reps.

 

There is 24 hour contact with eBay,  between the US Chat and phone reps and the Philippino phone reps. Some are better trained than others.

This is a 4 month old thread and the person who started this thread is no longer selling, so they cannot answer your question.  It's always a good idea to open a new thread with your issue at hand so that other's can advise.  Looks like you were selling things you didn't have the right or permission to sell.  Copyright/trademark issues, no doubt.
