So, to sell my items I usually use the mobile apps. I rarely use the computer. I sold a PS4 for $200, some guy with 0 feedback bought it. Weird, but thought he was new. I check my selling list, and the item shows as "Sold - Awaiting Payment". I tap on it, and the listing says "It's time to ship." Confused, I log into the Paypal App. It shows the Payment Pending, but the app tells me "OK to ship". I searched around and saw the eBay app bugs out sometimes, so I took it as the payment is pending since he is new and the eBay app just bugged. Since the Paypal app tells me its "OK to Ship", I go ahead and ship. The night I shipped, I decided to check up on the payment on my laptop since my phone was charging. The site said "Pending, Please Wait to Ship." I am baffled. How is the same service telling me, it's OK to Ship, and its not Ok to ship? I'm now worried about a scam and feel cheated out by eBay and Paypal.

You said you were concerned there might be a prblem, so you should have done your due dilligence to make sure the money is in there. A call to paypal would have been the definitive answer.
And that is what you should do right now while it is time to recall the item if payment is not there,

go to the usps website & pay the 12.50 for a package intercept to get your item back

I did that the same night, they replied this morning saying the Package cannot be intercepted.

at this point the only thing you can do is open an unpaid case to get your final value fees back & send an invoice through paypal to the "buyer". this doesn't mean the buyer will be honorable & pay for the item. always log into paypal & look for "ok to ship", an expensive lesson learned

Did you mark the item as being shipped or add a tracking number?
I hope not.
Better wait with that until the payment is really received.

Has the package been delivered? If not, I'd be calling their (the city you shipped it to) local post office the very first thing tomorrow morning, give them the tracking number of the package, politely explain the situation, and ask them if they can return it to sender. I don't know if it will work, but certainly worth a try!

That's the problem, I almost exclusively use the Mobile App because I'm rarely home. I looked at the transaction on my phone on the Paypal app and it DOES say OK TO SHIP.

Yes the item was shipped and the number was added.

Tracking says it's at a Distribution Center. Hopefully I can get ahold of them.

I tried calling them, but after about 30 mins on hold, the call was dropped.
