Accessing PayPal History gone now?

I type out my own packing slips (yes, I know I don't have to) and the old history pages were so much easier to read. Quantity was listed on the left side and I could see the buyer's e-mail, which I have needed a few times when I make a non-eBay sale, so I can add it to my postage program. Today I wake up and it is no longer accessible from the URL address I have been using. Anyone know any other way to get to it? The ability to access it from Chrome went away a couple of months ago. I use Microsoft edge and also checked Firefox today and it isn't available there, either

The new look works to PayPal's advantage, because I also can no longer see whether a buyer is verified, unverified, unregistered, or NON-US. I have my settings in place to block any NON-US, but PayPal lets them through anyway. I have contacted their customer service several times, and was told I needed to contact eBay about it by one person, they could find nothing wrong by another, I should increase my prices to cover it by another, and one person who actually saw the problem and said she would contact their IT people. Nothing came of that.

I used to wonder who would make me finally downsize my listings and start enjoying my retirement, eBay,  its buyers, or the post office and their incompetency. I wonder if I should add PayPal to the list now.

Happy New Year all

It sounds like you are wasting a lot of time.

Actually, I can still get my 30-50 orders per day out by 2:30 every day.

Wasting time is bothering to comment with no solution or suggestion

If you weren't creating packing slips, you could be creating more listings and making more money.

Or enjoying a cool beverage.

Usually you have to login, unless your were logged in within the last 10 minutes, and sometimes they redirect to the new pages from the login screen. In that case, just hit the bookmark to to above link again, and should be shown the classic page. Some fuctions on that page (like profile, settings, wallet, etc) throw you into the new pages again, but viewing transaction details stays in the classic view at least for me.

I have that link as a bookmark on my Firefox browser bookmarks toolbar, and I have a Redirector addon rule to prevent any PayPal redirects when they try to get sneaky.

I lied.

PayPal changed things in the last day or two, and although the link I posted still pulls up the classic boilerplate PayPal summary page, viewing any transaction details now redirects to the new page view, and so far a I see no way to work around that.

Didn't spend a whole lot of time looking at it since I was there during my order processing flow trying to get a couple of orders shipped out before 4.30pm to get them on their way before New Years Day holiday, and of course ran into changes when I had no time to deal with them - printer was acting up too of course, and I ended up having to run to catch the USPS driver emptying the bluebox 🙂

Will report back any findings on what has changed and any ways to resist that change when I get a chance.

(PayPal is really trying hard to get me to say "take this payment service and shove it")

Saw that too today, so thank you for the corroboration, although there's little comfort in that it's not just me. Have you tried the URLs you've saved (header/footer on a PDF or printout) of any classic Transaction Details pages?

I have all headers and footers turned off in print settings in my browsers (tradeoff between clean printing and maximized information retention, and I opted for clean print), so I have no URLS for past pages.

I suspect they would redirect also, since the URLS on the current classic transaction summary page look about the same as I recall, and I fired up HTTPFox and grabbed the load requests and saw they've stuck a 302 redirect on those page requests.

That's why I'm not optimistic about a workaround, but haven't had a chance to look at it again yet.
