I have an eBay store and have not had too many issues, however I was a bit shocked when I just attempted to post an item. It read $6.00 as an insertion fee. I find that absurd and was wondering how could that be. It was a Nascar item under $300. Less than the allowed 12 photos. It was a "good til canceled" listing, but I ALWAYS use that. The fee DID go down when I changed to 10 days ($3) STILL, I did not post, not for that fee and an eBay store. Please explain.

Did you somehow add in any expensive add ons.

That sounds like the fee for the Bold option, or maybe subtitle.

Chances are you had an optional listing upgrade selected.
Adding a bold title is $3 for a 10-day listing and $6 for a 30-day or GTC listing, so that sounds like the culprit.

It probably "defaulted" on Bold - so make sure you look at all the features and "choices" Ebay makes for you on the listings each time.
