Absolute Fastest Sale Ever!!

I made a post a while back amazed that I was getting views on a listing, 30 seconds after I published it.  Well the otherday I was listing a graphing calculator. I hit enter to list it and IMMEDIATELY recieved an offer!! Literally, not even 5 seconds.  And it sold!  But, tell me, how in the world is that even possible??!!  Wouldn't it be nice to sell all your items seconds after listing them? LOL

I checked for you. The average price like yours is between $55 to $60. Your buyer saw yours was $10 cheaper than average. He had it on his watch list and snagged before someone else could. People who list and move stuff fast are the ones like you who price right and get things sold. There are others who over price and their stuff sit for months to years. Good job !!!!

It was good timing on your part when the listing was launched in ebay. Plus, the buyer could have set an auto search to trigger on the particular item & had an ideal price in mind.

Congratulations.......we can only dream about always having such sale scenarios!!!

People watch list different items they're looking for (basically save notification).  When you list the item, it triggers that and if they're watching, they'll jump on it immediately if not sooner.  But basically, any item that's in hot demand will have that happen. 

Course the problem that comes into my mind is if I asked too little initially - especially when multiple people come out of the woodwork doing that.  Had one item like that I ended up kicking myself for wishing I put up as auction because I had dueling offers within 2 minutes.  Course the problem is it's hard to impossible to know which items actually are in high demand on ebay to plan that beforehand.
