Note the seller:

Caught a 22 yr in Spain returning boxes of dirt to Amazon.....$370,000....... Amazon "randomly" checks the return contents.

At least amazon has the foresight to check the weight.
With ebay you can just return whatever as long as it has a tracking number and you don't even have to return it to the original sender.. just send it to someone with the same area code and when they pick it up you're good to go and will get an automated refund from the sellers account... which they ebay/paypal have the audacity to claim that comes from them.

They liked it, wore it, perhaps couldn’t afford it, found something cheaper, and back it came.

Seriously at times I think none of them care what comes back as long as the items show they were sold on the books, except when any one person pulls a scam over a million bucks like a few of these recent AMZ scams. And IT’S AMZ’S items that were sold and stolen. Then they get pretty serious about it.

I just received a shirt ordered on ebay with one of those whatnots attached to it that read....you remove it, you own it.
