My first order over was over 24 years ago, so I really couldn't give you an answer because I don't remember and it really wasn't necessary to share it with the community.

My first order was in the fall of 1999. I remember it well. Back then we only did auctions and they were so exciting. You put up a listing and when you checked it next morning you had bids! Then you got multiple bids and it ended for way more than you had anticipated. It was your first sale. Then panic hit. You had no idea how to ship this thing or how to pack it. You reached out to your buyer who was happy to share great packing tips for magazines with you (which you still follow today).

Ebay was so much fun back then! Sometimes I still miss it.

On ebay or in general? Our first sale under Glory Glory Gifts was back in early August of 2008 and it was for a gorgeous pearl ladder rosary that we sold for $30, cash, at a local venue. I don't remember the first sale on any of our e-tail sites, including this one.

@dreamation_designs My first order was over 20 years ago so I cannot recall the details. However, I can recall the emotions. I was excited to get my first order and thrilled that someone chose to purchase from me. I felt a responsibility to package the item correctly and safely for shipment. After I shipped it out, I remember feeling proud that I had accomplished listing an item and selling it all by myself. It started me on my selling path to this day. Best of luck to you....

The total cost of my first order?  It was either ten cereal box-tops and 5 cents or five cereal box-tops and 10 cents.  One or the other.  Hard to remember after 70 years.  Oh, and the cost of the envelope and stamp.

Pair of black patent leather coffin heeled shoes, may have been from Pennangalan Dreams but that I don't quite remember.  They were mine but pinched my feet.  A very nice person in Hawaii sent me $90 folded up into a tiny packet and sent in an envelope, with a really nice note. She was very happy with her shoes - I think it was 2001.

ETA:  First order on eBay - I'd been selling on a few others sites before then.
