ARE OTHER COMPETING SELLERS AUCTION ADS BEING SHOWN IN MY AUCTIONS IF THEIR PRICES ARE LOWER??

Here's my question, can you look at some of my auctions and see if competing sellers of the same thing are in my auctions with a lower price as some times. When I am looking at something on ebay I will see some one selling the item at a lower price in the center of the page or at the bottom trying to direct me to a lower price auction.......Thanks in advance

Yes, other people see the same thing you do.  Just because you pay for ad space, does not mean that space is exclusively yours - we all deal with it. However, savvy buyers know it is not the price that matters in most cases. it's location, the warm fuzzy feeling from a well written ad, the shipping time, feedback, and a lot of other factors. I seldom shop by price alone.

Your items are sorta rare. Not many users would be listing the items you sell so there would be none to show. I looked at a couple of your listings and didn't see any one else's ads.  That said, if you were to sell a popular item you bet your life there would be some else's ad in your listing.

you can copy and paste your listed item header in the search bar and see if anything else matches your listing?

Also your items will be shown on the pages of other sellers. That's how I find some of the things I buy.

Yes , and I've read a few complaints about it here in these boards . Some people  don't care for the idea that they are essentially  paying seller fees to advertise for other sellers . Tulips

Most seller use free insertions, so most of the time there are no seller fees associated with an active listing.

In my experience, it is not just lower priced items.  It is a range of all prices, some higher, some lower.

That is what I see on listings ... a variety of prices on similar items ebay thinks you might like.

I do object to them sticking the magazine listings on my listings of the Media Mail abusers because then buyers think I should comply since eBay "allows it".
