Personally. I'll never let another human being or AI do anything for me
that I'm going to be responsible for.
When selling on ebay, It's not my fault is not a good excuse.

Usually pretty badly.
Best suggestion I’ve read about using the AI-generated descriptions is that you use them as a springboard for your own, editing and modifying them judiciously.

It hurts you and will delay your sale of a product.
Search engines (eBay, Google, etc.) can easily recognize, and will readily ignore, sanitized pabulum.
They give precedence to genuine, unique, thoughtful and personal prose.
Same applies to buyers who come here to find an item.
No one has time to read through gratuitous gibberish.
The shorter and more concise the text, the better. For everybody.

AI descriptions on their own are horrible.
When I am buying and I see that the seller has not even edited the AI script that tells me either they don't know enough about what they are selling.

IMHO they don't help at all. The AI descriptions are just a bunch of fluffy nonsense. Take the time and write your own. YMMV

From the examples that I have seen, it doesn’t describe the product.
Perhaps it can be a bit of an aid to a poorly-educated seller or a seller who is deficient in the English language. Mainly it functions as an old-fashioned non-specific marketing pitch aimed at gullible buyers.
For almost all items being sold on eBay, using AI-generated descriptions will add nothing to your sales effort. It may even chase away potential buyers.

It takes factual input in Product details and other fields and converts it to marketing babble.
Some buyers like reading marketing babble, and will be more favorably inclined to your listing. Many will recognize that the marketing babble is 90% identical to another product which differs dramatically. Those buyers will feel that no effort went into the listing, which may influence their willingness to buy.
My buyers want a story to go with the item, and I seek to provide the story when I can, and AI knows no stories other than those it copies.

Your question sounds AI to me.

Hawaii, Me too.

While AI will eventually be useful, it just adds recognizable phrases at this early stage.
Sure to be a conversation starter.
A must have for any collection.

The short answer is that it does not. I looked at some of your listings and the ones that have an AI listing are as meaningless as the ones that do not.
You need to avoid using AI descriptions and instead focus on taking clear photos of the item that you are trying to sell. Use the Item Specifics to put in the brand name - part name - model number - size - dimensions - whatever else is relevant. Then write a short description in your own words to explain what the item is or what it does or whatever else will be important for your buyer to know.
For example - I am looking at your listing for a 'NURSAL TENS EMS Unit Muscle Stimulator for Pain Relief Therapy' and all I am seeing are three blurry photos of what appears to be the box lid and a page of the instruction manual. It is labeled as a New product but it has obviously been opened. This needs clear photos of the product and a clear description that will help someone who may need this device.
I also see a listing for a 'Strobe Light USB Color Selection.' but the only two photos show a light in the distance in what appears to be a cluttered living room. It looks like an auto accessory LED light from Walmart. Unless it actually has a fast blinking feature it is not a strobe light. There is a useless AI description with this one that explains nothing.
Another listing appears to be for Russian Nesting Dolls and has a vague AI description of them but the only two photos in the listing are showing what appears to be a glass doorknob with an image of a cat inside.
I strongly suggest you go back to Square 1. Take clear sharp photos. Do not upload photos that are not in focus or do not clearly show the item itself. Write a short clear description that a buyer will need to know. Good luck.

aszm-66,
Your description says the strobe light will “enhance your driving experience.” Yikes! That will be an eventful trip. Maybe AI is not so “intelligent” after all.

Every item is a must have.
