You need to be more detailed in what you are concerned about.. How is AI punishing people? What are you seeing that proves all this.

I didn't start the thread. Sometimes what I might see is different that what you might see. Details are important for a constructive discussion. I take it from your response that you don't want to provide any details of what you have notice. Your right certainly, but it does may a fluid conversation more difficult.

@owerstokdeel eBay has a lot invested in their AI, but it's generally for shopping and 'discovery', and in my experience isn't very well implemented. I wouldn't worry about it.
As for 'shadow banning' on other platforms - they have no influence on the operations of other marketplaces.
Also, selling cheap used items has become, in general, less and less doable, anyway, similar to big heavy cheap items. There are so.many cheap used items on this site, it's huge, and shipping has got to the point where it adds significantly to the cost, that no, it isn't worth it.

Why AI would shadow banning ?? The list of reasons is to long. That is why I refer you to read it when do Google search. The most common is bad, sometimes unfair feedbacks, fake reports, returns and not promoting items.
There is many many more " thinks AI trained to not like it " ...because he is everywhere watching you.

I actually work for AI companies (training for diversity - oops SO WOKE!!!). They're not following you around - that is not profitable.
Looking at your sales, for how much you have listed in a crowded, over-hyped category, you're doing well!

eBay has too many sellers, anyway, but they're not being driven off by an AI conspiracy. Why? We are not worth the trouble. And *who* is managing this huge hub that ties together all of these platforms to somehow cheat and ban sellers? Why would they do it? Most of this is just nickle and dime - not worth it. I agree, the current regime wants control over our movements, who we know, what we think...but I doubt suppressing our rinky-dink sales factors much into it.
