Hi,
I'm really new to eBay selling and have sold an item internationally. I can't seem to find the AES ITN exemption code for Italy? The item I sold is definitely under the monetary limit. Help directs me to the US Government site but I'm having a hard time navigating it.
Thank you in advance

It may not be able to be exported to Italy. Italy has strict customs requirements. I would look it up and see if it's even able to be shipped at all.

What is the item you are shipping and how are you shipping it?

Are you shipping the item by eBay International Shipping?
If so, that may not be an issue for you as a seller -- let EIS sort it out.

Yes I am. I wasn't sure but I think I found the exemption code. Fingers crossed as I've already printed the label.
Thanks for replying

A fishing reel through eBay international. I believe I found the exemption code, it was actually listed underneath Canada's. At least I hope so

Thank you for the link, it was very helpful. It's a fishing reel which I don't see listed as prohibited so thankfully I dodged that bullet. I also think I found the right code (fingers crossed)

If you were shipping eIS (eBays international shipping ) the address to ship to on the label will look like this👇

I looked at all the reels you sold today and none of then offered eBay International Shipping to Italy, they all offered USPS First Class International Package.
For an actual EIS shipment you would have no need to provide an AES ITN.
I haven't used USPS International services for years and years, when I did the AES ITN Exemption info was automatically included on all USPS labels (up to a value of $2500 as I recall).
